Is your fire risk assessment up-to-date?

Fires can easily be avoided by putting in place adequate precautions that will be addressed in a fire risk assessment. A new assessment is required by law to be carried out every 5 years, or once a year if you make significant changes to the inside of your building.

What is carried out in a risk assessment?

Our assessors will look at the following procedures:

  • Fire alarm requirements
  • emergency lighting requirements
  • Fire extinguisher requirements
  • Fire safety signage
  • Fire training
  • Fire doors
  • Good house-keeping

After a fire risk assessment, what do you need to do?

You may have to make small or large changes to your business depending on what our risk assessors identify in your assessment. Should you need to make big changes to your business, we can assist with all aspects to ensure your building is safe from the threat of fire. Working in areas such as Orpington, we specialise in a wide range of services that include fire alarms, emergency lighting, dry risers, fire extinguishers and suppression systems to name but a few.

Just wanted to send a quick message regarding a visit from Neil Maytum who has just been to replace failed emergency lights in Willesborough Baptist Church in Ashford. With him having only visited a week or so ago to do the servicing of our system, to have him back so promptly was amazing!

He is always such a pleasure to have come to us; always cheerful, always enthusiastic! Please can he come to us in the future?!
