Why provide fire safety training?
Prevention is the best form of firefighting. By training your employees, it can stop fires from happening in the first place. Fire safety training is also a legal requirement and in the event of a fire, it will keep your employees safer and may reduce fire damage to your property.
As part of our fire safety training programmes, we will cover a variety of topics that include:
- Understanding the importance of fire safety training
- The types of fire extinguishers
- How to use an extinguisher
- Good housekeeping
- What to do if you hear a fire alarm
- How to apply what you’ve learned to a real-life emergency.
FIRE SAFETY TRAINING – CROYDON
Who is required to have fire safety training?
All staff members whether they’re part-time or full-time, are required to partake in some form of fire safety training. When new employees join your business, they should receive some form of training on their first day and should also complete refresher courses at a later date as well.
Fire safety training should also be carried out more often if you have a high turnover of staff and if there is a high risk of fire in your building. To book one of our training courses, or to find out where we work outside of Croydon, please get in touch with us today.
